Well, that upgraded mobo and proc/RAM in my server has been running just fine for the last month, and so far so good. I decided to go ahead and start running some more services on it, since it seems to be chugging along ok. Swapped Kavita for Komga. Komga is a little nicer and DietPi has it in their repos, so easy to keep updated. Also added Bookstack via a Docker container, FreshRSS and a couple dashboards. Of course, still running Plex and PiHole.

This has given me the chance to get some of my digital hoarding under control and sorted out to some extent. I have cleared off a few of my old hard drives, which I am thinking that I need to cobble together some sort of backup server to protect this wellspring of all my digital collections. I need to, but I am honestly not feeling like dealing with all that work right now.

Still feeling like this site needs a "Links Page, but a combination of apathy and exhaustion has robbed me of the willpower to get it done. Perhaps one day this week I will sit down and give it a go. Really, it's just a matter of doing the the one graphic and figuring out how I want to put the link on the front page, but between work, and my severe allergies, I have just been feeling drug down. Perhaps I will give myself a kick in the ass and just do it soon.

Adendum - Said screw it, and made the links page. Made it and realized I forgot to make the curly braces black, but I'm to lazy to fix it now. As my old math teach use to say "Close enough for government work". So, you know. Enjoy it, I guess.

I finally added a real picture to the "Pictures" section. Whilst at my last job, I was screwing around with MS Paint, and my colleague suggested that my doodling basically looked just like actual art. Ergo, I saved it for it's comedic value and have determined to display it on the finest canvas in the whole of the internet. You're welcome!

I mean, for a site template that someone threw together in the 1990's, you would think whatever asshole designed this thing would have put a "links" section in. I mean, I know nobody does that anymore, except here in Neocities, but come on! In the 90's EVERYONE did it. No links section, but you put a "Calendar" page in? WTF!?! What kind of madman must you have been? I know, I could put one in but, like everything else, it's a question of time. Maybe I will take a stab at making the logos and buttons, but blech. A lot of work for very little payoff.

On another note...I recently upgraded my home server. I was actually dreading doing that, as we are talking about a whole motherboard replacement, but it was actually easier than I had originally thought it was going to be, so that was nice. Went from an ancient i3 to a slightly more modern Xeon processor. Four threads versus eight on the new proc. Also jumped from four gigs of RAM to sixteen. Performance is already noticably better. Running Plex, PiHole and Kavita if anyone was wondering.

Today I remembered this site exists. That at some point, I put it here, then neglected it for a long time. My bad.

Fixed the calendar page. I mean, it was the 90's, who put calendars on their homepages back then? Bands and astronomers. That's it, end of list. Originally, I tried to put some homepage gadget thing there that actually showed a calendar, but apparently it broke at some point. I think the new one is much better anyway. Certainly, it is more accurate!

Also added an image to the "About Us" page and the custom 404 page got a small bit of customization! You're welcome!
